A High Court hearing of applications relating to the
trial of four former Christchurch Civic Childcare Centre workers on indecency
charges will resume on April 5. The hearing which started last Thursday has so far
dealt with applications seeking separate trials and the exclusion of certain
evidence. The court, before Mr Justice Williamson, will next hear
applications seeking the discharge of certain of the accused. Further details about the hearing are suppressed. |
