The High Court yesterday began hearing another
pre-trial application seeking an order in relation to three of the former
childcare workers at the Civic crèche who are charged with abusing children
in their care. Mr Gerald Nation, for Gaye Jocelyn Davidson, aged
39, Marie Keys, aged 43, and Janice Virginia Buckingham, aged 45, presented
argument for the application, which the Crown opposes. Further details relating to the proceeding before Mr
Justice Williamson are suppressed. Rulings on two earlier applications have
been suppressed also. |
