The Education Ministry has drawn up a set of guidelines for child

I/V Maris O'Rourke, Education Ministry re there has been a high level of
concern about whether these are safe places for young children, we want to be
sure that they are, that they continue to be. GRAPHIC key points included in
the report, careful recruitment of staff, proper staff training and
supervision of staff, and gives a six point plan of action to follow once any
child abuse is suspected. (SF)
