Government rejects crèche case inquiry

The Attorney General, Paul East has decreed that there is no merit in holding an inquiry into the Christchurch Creche child abuse case. According to Mr East, all the necessary matters had been covered by the initial trial and subsequent appeal. Supporters of Peter Ellis, who remains in jail, have vowed to work on.
