LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Peter Ellis case

Sir-Many thinking persons now feel that an injustice has been committed against Peter Ellis. However, I am afraid that, on the eve of elections, political parties will not take up his case; there are no votes in it. In my opinion, these basic facts are working against Peter Ellis:

1. Politics - is it correct to speak up?

2. The massive compensation paid by ACC to parents of children who were supposedly abused.

3. The massive compensation Peter Ellis deserves if he is found not guilty.

As some wit said: "'What has the law to do with justice?" at least in this case.
