Peter Ellis
by Gordon Weare, Warrington
Since
the beginning of the Peter Ellis case, I have never been convinced of his
guilt. My reason is simple - the ridiculousness of the charges. I have no
quarrel with the court system, but this case got out of hand, long before the
trial. I believe Peter Ellis is an innocent victim of television hysteria and
the whispering campaign of the politically correct, and that Peter Ellis could
be anyone else. The public needs to be reminded of the silly charges that have
brought this calamity upon him. Although out of prison, he now needs
exoneration.
