Back to Goff
Some friends and
colleagues called it unprofessional, some called it an abuse of power that Phil
Goff should be writing letters to the editor (December 2) in an attempt to sway
public opinion. I call it plain outrageous
when he doesn’t even quote the facts.
Sir Thomas
Eichelbaum never spoke to my son. The
parameter of his ministerial inquiry covered only how the children’s evidence
was collected, nothing to do with the evidence itself.
The appeal court
judges, far from concurring on the verdict, suggested the case would be better
dealt with by a commission of inquiry.
The urge for that comes not only from Lynley Hood, but from academics,
coalface QCs, lawyers, journalists and the public in general. The ball is in your court, Mr Goff
