How relieved I was to realise That Bruce Ansley had written “Whiffs of Injustice” (Editorial, December 8). It is a pity that a journalist who has consistently supported Ellis was asked to write an unbiased editorial.  I feel obliged to record that I am not a so-called “crèche parent”, in case my comments are interpreted as face saving. As a Christchurch resident over the past decade, I would remind people that Christchurch has had other court cases, in particular that of Dr Morgan Fahey, whose offending over a long period of time was regarded by his associates as “unbelievable”.
