It is increasingly apparent that the "new" evidence required by
Phil Goff to set up a commission of inquiry is the testimony that was never
presented to a jury.
The children involved were pressured until they said what they thought the
interrogators wanted to hear. As well as Ellis, the victims of this sorry
saga are the children who are going through life in the mistaken belief they
were victims of abuse.
