The Ellis case
Letter to the Editor
by Tim McKinnel (Onehunga)
Don Brash and the
National Party will continue to languish in political polls, and indeed the
minds of intelligent New Zealanders, if they persist in courting publicity in
matters on which they are uninformed. If Dr Brash had bothered to fully
research the Ellis case, he would not have sought political gain in the form
of his petition.
Ellis' victims are now being forced to relive their trauma publicly because
Dr Brash and people like him refuse to believe that an intelligent,
personable man can commit evil acts. Ellis' victims, and those who have an
objective view of this case, know they exist.
