Three News One supporter of Peter Ellis says
it a royal commission of inquiry into his case is long overdue. Ellis was convicted in 1993 of
sexually molesting children at the Christchurch Civic Crèche - but he's
always maintained his innocence, and refused to be considered for parole. He has legal backing from a team
led by Judith Ablett-Kerr, who has written to the Minister of Justice asking
for a commission of inquiry. Author Lynley Hood, who wrote the
book "A City Possessed" about the case, says there should have been
an inquiry long ago. |
