Intruder theory ruled out in girl's death
A scene examination has found no
evidence of an intruder at the house where a 10 year old girl was found
unconscious, before she died in hospital.
An initial post-mortem examination
indicated Charlene Makaza may have been suffocated.
Police were examining the outside of
the house for any sign that an intruder had broken in.
But Detective Inspector Malcolm
Johnston says the extensive examination has ruled out the theory of an intruder
being involved.
Further tests are continuing to
clarify how the 10 year old died.
She lived at the house in Ilam with her aunt and uncle and their family
