Sky bosses are tight-lipped over whether the channel's league presenter Peter Ropati will face disciplinary action after screaming repeatedly towards the judge in his brother's trial.

Peter co-host of the channel's NRL Primetime show was ordered out of courtroom seven at the Auckland District Court on Thursday after yelling out towards Judge Phil Gittos.

After the not guilty verdicts, a furious Peter, left, shouted the case was a "pile of poop" and "should never have come to this".

When Peter continued to yell the judge warned if he didn't leave he would be arrested.

He then apologised to the jury for Peter's behaviour. "You shouldn't have to put up with that sort of thing," Judge Gittos said.

Outside court, Peter told a photographer to "wipe that smug look off your face".

Sky spokesman Tony O'Brien last night said the pay TV broadcaster would not discuss "employment matters".

Peter did not return Sunday News' calls.
