Dear Stakeholders and Participants in the Inquiry,

As you are aware the Minister for Health, The Hon Bronwyn Pike, has asked the Health Services Commissioner (HSC), Beth Wilson, to conduct an Inquiry into the Practice of Recovered Memory Therapy. Under section 9(1)(m) of the Health Services (Conciliation and Review) Act (Vic), the HSC has powers to inquire into matters referred by the Minister for Health.

Please find attached the Draft Report on the Inquiry into the Practice of Recovered Memory Therapy. Thank-you for your contribution to date. The Draft Report has been sent to key stakeholders and those who participated in the Inquiry for comments prior to presenting it to the Minister. I would appreciate it if you could read the Draft Report and make comments or clarifications. Your comments will be considered and may or may not be incorporated into the Final Report.
