Counsellor satisfied with Inquiry
Satisfaction police
culture being put under spotlight by Commission of Inquiry, according to
counsellor Margaret Craig
There is satisfaction the police culture is being put under the spotlight by
the Commission of Inquiry into rape allegations.
The inquiry, headed by Dame Margaret Bazley, will
look into the police conduct, standards and procedures used when investigating
allegations of sexual abuse against members of the force.
Margaret Craig is a sex abuse counsellor who has dealt with the woman at the
centre of the rape allegations.
She says those terms of reference are a comfort.
Margaret Craig says it is necessary to look at what men entering the police
force believe.
