Abuse claim Dads' anger
by Jenny Friel

Three fathers who claim they were wrongly accused of sexually abusing their children are to take the Irish Medical Council to the High Court.

Dr Moira Woods, former head of the Rotunda sex abuse unit in Dublin, had several allegations of professional misconduct upheld against her last month.

But the council refuses to make public the results of its investigation into Dr Woods' findings.

A spokesman for the fathers said: "Without a shadow of a doubt we will take them to court. This is outrageous behaviour."

An Irish Medical Council spokesman refused to comment on Dr Woods' case, but said: "Where a doctor decides not to appeal a ruling we ask the High Court to confirm its ruling."
