Assistant Police Commissioner
Clint Rickards A jury has been selected in the
High Court trial of an assistant police commissioner and two former officers
facing historic sex charges dating back to the 1980s. Assistant Police Commissioner
Clint Rickards, along with former policemen Bob Schollum and Brad Shipton are
accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 16-year-old. The judge has strongly urged the
jury of eight men and four women to disregard anything they've heard about
the accused outside the court. The trio were acquitted of 20
charges last year including the rape, sexual violation and indecent assault
of Louise Nicholas while she was a teenager in the 1980s. |
