Complainant In Tears Giving Evidence

A woman has tearfully described how three police officers laughed after indecently assaulting her.

Assistant Police Commissioner Clint Rickards and former officers Brad Shipton and Bob Schollum are on trial at the High Court in Auckland.

The woman, who was 16 at the time of the incident, has told the court she was in a sexual relationship with Brad Shipton and quickly fell in love.

She described drinking with the three accused and two other men at a Rotorua house when Mr Shipton joked about having sex with her, but she replied she wouldn't with all the other men present.

Through tears she told the court of being carried to a bedroom, thrown on a bed, handcuffed and indecently assaulted.

The trial is continuing.
