The lawyer for one of our most
senior police officers claims a woman accusing him of sexual assault has
misidentified him. Assistant Commissioner Clint
Rickards, along with former officers Brad Shipton and Bob Schollum, are
denying charges of kidnap and sexual assault dating back to the 1980s. Yesterday the Court was told that
they took the 16-year-old girl screaming and struggling to a bedroom,
handcuffed her to a bed and indecently assaulted her with a bottle. The three men were acquitted last
year of raping Rotorua woman Louise Nicholas in the 1980s. |
