Shipton, Schollum vs Jane Doe Page 1 - 2007 Trial of
Rickards, Shipton, Schollum Week 1 |

Clint Rickards claims he has never
met the woman who has accused him of indecent assault. It has been standing room only at the
High Court in Auckland, where the suspended Assistant Police Commissioner has
been giving evidence in the trial of himself, and former police officers Bob
Schollum and Brad Shipton. Rickards has told the court the
allegations against him are untrue and he had never known the complainant
until he saw her in a court room. Rickards went on to give evidence
that he had undergone a knee reconstruction in late 1983 and was in plaster
and on crutches over the time of the alleged incident and was limping for a long
time afterwards. Earlier the complainant told the court she'd never seen
Rickards in plaster, on crutches or limping. |
