The wife of a former police
officer charged with historic sexual offending says the team of detectives
investigating the case has displayed the most unethical conduct. Assistant Commissioner Clint
Rickards and former policemen Brad Shipton and Bob Schollum are on trial at
the High Court in Auckland accused of kidnapping and indecently assaulting a
16-year-old in the 1980s. Sharon Shipton is giving evidence
in her husband's defence. While being questioned by the
crown today she said she would never assist the investigation team, as she's
seen, read and heard about the most shameful, unethical and unprofessional
conduct by them. |
