The first of two extra Crown witnesses
is about taking the stand in the trial of suspended assistant police
commissioner Clint Rickards and former officers Brad Shipton and Bob Schollum
today. The men are accused of kidnapping
and indecent assault in Rotorua more than two decades ago. The Crown finished
calling evidence last week, but following the defence case, has decided to
call two more witnesses. Their identities will not be
revealed until they appear in court. |
