Justice Potter still summing up

A jury's been told the Crown's case against a high ranking policeman and two former officers rests on the assessment of the complainant's credibility, and reliability.

The Assistant Police Commissioner Clint Rickards, and Brad Shipton and Bob Schollum, are accused of kidnapping and indecently assaulting a 16 year old in the 1980s.

Justice Potter has been summing up the case at the High Court in Auckland, before the jury retires.

She says jury members must consider each charge and each accused separately, and must decide if the complainant's evidence is truthful and reliable.
