Convicted paedophile Peter Ellis
was due to have his second appeal heard in the Court of Appeal in Wellington today. Ellis,
from Christchurch,
was convicted in 1993 on 13 child abuse charges relating to incidents at the
Christchurch Civic Creche. His first appeal was dismissed in 1994.
