	Waikato Times October 14 1999 Court rejects Ellis' appeal NZPA The Court of Appeal has rejected the appeal against conviction of former Christchurch creche worker Peter Ellis. The court decision was released today. Ellis is serving a 10-year jail sentence for sex offences against children at Christchurch's Civic Childcare Centre. He has protested his innocence and has twice turned down parole opportunities, as well as declining home leave.
