Ellis won't admit guilt - lawyer
NZPA
Convicted paedophile Peter Ellis
won't sign parole documents if they imply he was rightfully convicted, his
lawyer, Judith Ablett Kerr, QC, said yesterday. Ellis will be released from
Paparoa Prison, near Christchurch,
on February 2, having served the mandatory two-thirds of his sentence. Ellis
has maintained his innocence since being convicted in 1993 of numerous sex
abuse charges against children in his care at the Christchurch Civic Creche.
