Convicted sex abuser Peter Ellis will
refuse to sign any parole documents if they imply he was rightfully
convicted, his lawyer says. Ellis will be released from prison on February 2,
2000, having served the mandatory two-thirds of his sentence. Ellis has
maintained his innocence since being convicted in 1993 of sex abuse charges
against children in his care at the Christchurch Civic Creche. |
