The Press Your attack on Peter Stewart's
family members was an all-time low in journalism (Dec 20). Stewart's family aren't responsible
for his crime, so why the venomous attack on his family? Is this because they
have been successful financially and socially or are well known and have
contributed to the community in many ways? I cannot remember such an attack
in The Press on any family associated with someone who has been found guilty
of a crime, so why the Stewarts? It is not the Kiwi way to foster
such journalism (gutter press). |
