	Waikato Times August 11 2006 Suppression continues A former test rugby league player has had name suppression extended until a hearing on the issue next week. The 41-year-old faces three sexual violation charges, including rape, arising from alleged offences on June 15. Interim name suppression had been due to expire today. But defence lawyer Gary Gotlieb yesterday told the Auckland District Court there were compelling reasons for it to be continued. The hearing over whether the former Kiwi should get continued name suppression was set down for Tuesday.
