The defence counsel for a former police
officer accused of rape says the woman making the accusations asked to be
handcuffed and referred to the accused as a "naughty little boy". The former Far North officer is
accused of handcuffing the woman, forcing her into the police station and raping
her in 1988. Defence lawyer Gary Gotlieb says
the complainant kissed his client in the car park and on the way back to the
police station they performed sexual acts on each other. He says the woman went into the
police station voluntarily and after they had consensual sex, asked to be
handcuffed and called the accused 'a naughty little policeman' before
performing oral sex on him. The woman denied the claims and
says she was forced into the police station and repeatedly told him no.
