Police may charge girl over sex attack claim
Police may charge a 16-year-old who claimed she was abducted from a Porirua
park and sexually violated by three men.
The girl sparked a hunt when she told police she was forced into a car by the
men while watching her brothers play at Ascot Park
on January 5.
She said she was blindfolded, taken to an unknown location and sexually
violated before being dumped back at the park.
Detective Sergeant Rob Gold said police were not satisfied the sexual
violation had taken place and were considering whether to charge the girl
with making a false complaint.
