	NZ Herald March 4 2004 Woman charged with making false rape claim A Cambridge woman has been charged with making a false complaint after she allegedly told police a man had tried to rape her at knifepoint at the weekend. The woman, 32, told police a man had entered her home and attacked her. Police are considering seeking reparation for the amount of time wasted on investigating the alleged false claim. The woman is due to appear in the Te Awamutu District Court on Monday.
