	The Nelson Mail April 30 2004 Rape inquiry scaled down Motueka police have made no arrests and are no longer seeking anyone in relation to an alleged rape in the town. But Detective John Nicholls said police were not treating the case as a false complaint at this stage. A 15-year-old girl reported being raped in the Motueka High School grounds last Friday night, sparking a major police investigation. Although she didn't require hospital treatment, police earlier this week said she was ``extremely traumatised'' by the attack which they described as ``horrendous''. Mr Nicholls said police had received further information from the girl that events may not have taken place as initially reported and she was confused about the exact details of the evening. Police were still working through the details of the incident today.
