	The Timaru Herald July 1 2004 Charged with false complaint A South Canterbury man has been charged with making a false complaint in relation to an alleged home invasion last month. The 68-year-old man had told police two armed intruders had broken into his rural home during the early hours of June 21. Detective Kevin Byrnes of the Timaru CIB, said a number of staff had been involved in the inquiry since the man made the complaint 10 days ago. The man is due to appear in the Timaru District Court on July 13.
