False-claim case
A Waikato
woman was remanded on bail yesterday when she appeared in the Hamilton District
Court on two charges of making false sex allegations. The woman was given
name suppression and community magistrate Patricia Ferguson also suppressed
all details of the people against whom the alleged false statements were
made. The woman, 43, has been charged with making false claims of rape and
sexual violation in April.
