DNA and further discussions with a
12-year-old The girl reported to police she
was raped in the grounds of Ebbett Park Primary School in mid April after
walking home from a dance gathering on a central city street. Detective Sergeant Mike Foster
says it is disappointing and frustrating given the time and effort which has
gone into the investigation. Mr Foster says both the
12-year-old and her 16-year-old friend will be referred to Youth Aid. He does
not want real rape victims discouraged from reporting the crime. |
