Three News Police are pursuing several leads
after the attempted kidnapping of an 11-year-old boy in Havelock North. The boy had just left a pet shop
on Napier Road on Saturday afternoon when he was approached by a man who
grabbed his arm and tried to drag him into a parked car. Police say the boy kicked the man
in the shins and ran off. The man is described as
dark-skinned and was driving a bronze/tan coloured 1980s square-shaped saloon
with a dent in the left front bumper. |
