Newstalk ZB Police in Havelock North in
Hawke's Bay say the reported kidnapping of a boy did not happen. An 11-year old boy told officers
that a man grabbed him outside a pet shop and tried to force him into a car
on Saturday afternoon. However, police say there were inconsistencies in his
version of events and while he may have seen a man fitting the description he
gave, there was no kidnapping. Police will not be taking any
further action. |
