Three News Police have put a halt to a
kidnapping investigation in the Hawke’s Bay after it was revealed the young
boy involved made it up. Several officers were called into
investigate after the 11-year-old told police he was grabbed by a man who
then tried to force him into a car. Havelock North Police spokesperson
Kris McGehan says they do come across cases where people fabricate stories
but they have to investigate them. |
