Newstalk ZB A teenage girl has admitted making
up a sex attack complaint. The 19-year-old said she was
sexually assaulted in Te Awanga, which is near Hastings, last Monday. She has
now admitted making a false complaint. Detective Senior Sergeant Dave de
Lange says it is frustrating, as considerable time and resources were put into
investigating the complaint. The woman has been referred to
counselling and a decision is yet to be made whether she will face charges. |
