	Otago Daily Times November 6 2008 Woman charged with making false sexual assault complaint NZPA A woman has been charged with making a false complaint after police followed up allegations of a sexual assault in Christchurch early this morning. The woman alleged she was attacked near Cathedral Square between 3am and 4am and police responded to the complaint by publicly seeking witnesses as part of their investigation. Police this afternoon said a 21-year-old woman had been charged with making a false statement in relation to the complaint and would appear in Christchurch District Court next week.
