Police in Christchurch
will not be releasing the details of an investigation into an alleged assault
at its privately owned bar. An inquiry was launched
more than a month ago when the un-named officer allegedly used a sleeper hold
on a female colleague. The martial arts
technique can leave the recipient unconscious. A police spokeswoman
says the internal investigation will not be released publicly. |
