Abuse report fails to support claims
An independent report
into abuse allegations at the Waiouru Army Cadet school has found nothing to
support claims of a culture of violence.
It has found that while
bullying took place at the school from 1948 to 1991, most of it involved a few,
mainly senior, cadets bullying a small number of their colleagues.
The review also looked
into the death of Cadet Grant Bain who was shot dead at the school barracks in
1981.
