Rush of sex-abuse calls
Calls
continue to flow in to three Catholic freephones set
up to help victims report sexual abuse by priests and brothers.

has logged 142 calls regarding its members and complaints that have been
forwarded to other religious orders.
Deputy leader Father Tim Duckworth said six fresh complaints against its
members were received. The vast majority of members complained of were dead, he
said.
Catholic Communications director Lyndsay Freer said
about 35 calls were received by the Catholic Church's freephone
in its first week.
