Priest admits sexual misconduct
The
former prison chaplain and restorative justice campaigner Jim Consedine has
stood down as Lyttleton Catholic parish priest after admitting to sexual
misconduct complaints from four women.

She says the decision to send Father Consedine to a treatment programme came
out of a mediation session with one of the abused women.
Father Consedine has been a marriage celebrant for over 30 years, was a prison
chaplain for 23 years and has written books on restorative justice.
