Catholic brothers to be charged with sex abuse
Three
Catholic Brothers, aged 56, 67 and 81, will be extradited from Australia to
face charges of sexual abuse committed in Christchurch up to 50 years ago.
Police laid 47 charges against three Brothers from the St John of God Order
yesterday after investigating complaints made by 39 former pupils of the
Two former Brothers who had also worked at the school are already before the
courts on multiple sex charges. The school closed in 1984.
