Police Minister George
Hawkins has told Police Commissioner Rob Robinson a witness statement from a
former flatmate of Rotorua woman Louise Nicholas should never have been
leaked. The Sunday Star-Times
newspaper reported contents of the statement, in which the flatmate said she
witnessed consensual sex between Ms Nicholas and two of three former police
officers she alleged raped her, and sometimes joined in. Police are still
deciding whether to lay criminal charges against Assistant Police
Commissioner Clint Rickards, Bob Schollum and Brad Shipton. |
