Clint Rickards says Rotorua rape complainant Louise Nicholas is lying. Rickards is giving
evidence in his own defence at his trial over Mrs Nicholas' historical sex
abuse allegations at the High Court in Auckland. Before a packed public
gallery, including his partner of 14 years, Clint Rickards has admitted
having consensual sex twice with Louise Nicholas. He says on one of those
occasions he had sex with her flatmate as well. He says while he is not
proud of that now, as he was a young married constable with two children at
the time, they were happy, jovial occasions. |
