The jury in the
Nicholas rape case will begin a third day of deliberations this morning at
the High Court in Auckland. The seven women and
five men are considering 20 sex charges involving Assistant Police
Commissioner Clint Rickards and former colleagues Brad Shipton and Bob
Schollum 20 years ago. After 21 hours of
deliberating, there was still no verdict. The stress and strain
of the waiting is becoming increasingly apparent, prompting tears from some
of the accused supporters |
