	The Evening Post April 20 1998 Teacher goes on trial NZPA The trial of a school teacher accused of indecently assaulting seven pupils started today in Hamilton District Court. John Timothy Edgar, 37, was arrested and charged last November. Edgar resigned as a schoolteacher soon after the allegations were made. One of the charges dates back to 1991, with the alleged victims all aged under 12 years. The trial is set down for six days. The jury was being selected this morning.
